Kata Beach - Phuket
Kata village is formed by some narrow roads lined with shops, restaurants, dive shops and hotels. The beach in front of it is large and clean.
As beaches go Kata is better than Patong, a bit quieter, with less nightlife and entertainment. It is still possible to find accommodation at very low prices, but itīs also true that people willing to spend more for a good room and a good meal (and less in booze and sex) tends to move this way, and they are well catered for.
