By Train: 8 hours
Express Train: Bangkok to Surat Thani leaves from Bangkok everyday at Hualamphong station at 10.45 p.m. and arrives Chumphon at 06.00 a.m. (next day)

By Bus: Coach Service: 6 hours
Ordinary Bus Service: The fare is 112 Baht. You can catch the bus in Bangkok at the Southern Bus Station, Tel. (02) 4110111. Buses to Chumphon leave from this station every day at 9 am, 2 pm and 9:40 pm. Buses to Bangkok leave from Chumphon Bus Station, Tha Taphao at 10:30 am, 2 pm and 9:30 pm. Tel. (077) 502725

The fare for air-conditioned coaches range from 272 to 420 baht.

By Air: 1 hour - 15 minutes
You can catch the Thai Airways flight from Bangkok to Surat Thani (better than Ranong) then you can take the bus or van in to Surat Thani and Chumphon.

*Note: when you arrive at Chumphon you can take a "blue" taxi, the fee is about 200-250 baht or you can take the local yellow taxi (song taew) to thung Wua Laen Beach. The fee is 25 baht each. Tell the driver that you want to get off at Clean Wave Resort and remember- the fee should not be more than 25 baht. You can find this taxi behind the Chumphon fresh market or near Chok-anan tour station.
