A small walk down an open wooden staircase from Baan Rim Pa restaurant is Otowa; a traditional Japanese restaurant serving fresh and authentic traditional Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is relaxed and the views across Kalim Bay great, especially at sunset. There is a small sushi bar with stools, a separate Tatami room for those who like a really ethnic feel and an open restaurant overlooking the beach. Specialities include imported sashimi, Robata Barbecue, chicken and beef sets (set menus). Good selection of saki, pleasant staff and a restaurant well worth visiting to sample Japanese food for the first or fiftieth time!
